Just like the fall leaves change, the Fairfield Iowa Convention and Visitors Bureau is changing with the times. The Bureau will now be blogging on TravelFairfieldIowa.com and FairfieldIowa.com. 1^st Fridays Art Walk – All Things Local – Sept. 5

Celebrate the Family Farm on the Square as the Art Walk partners with Buy Fresh Buy Local to offer local food, live music, art and family fun from 6 – 10 p.m. on the Square. Don’t miss a night of Local Music with the Fairfield Dixiland Band from 6-7:30 p.m. and Jefferson County Green Band from 7:30-10 p.m.

Satisfy your appetite with Local Food. Featured on the Square menu includes organic milk, fresh pressed apple juice, homemade local apple pies, local lasagna, made from scratch chili, homemade bread, Chef Kurt Michael Friese book signing and talk. Many local vendors bringing a variety of hand crafted, homemade products.
