Our Instructors:
Alicia Carradus is a talented local artist working in variety of media. She is currently an art teacher in the area School District and serves on the FAA board. Alicia exhibits at and has instructed numerous classes for the FAA. She is also active in creating artistic sets for local theater productions.
Ken Dubin started STUDIO 210 in the West Loop area of Chicago. Clients include the Spertus Museum, Chicago Holocaust Society, Adler Planetarium, Chicago Historical Society, Chicago Architecture Foundation, New Orleans Art Institute, the Racine Art Museum in Wisconsin, PS1 in New York
Elaine Duncan has exhibited two- and three dimensional media in galleries, competitions, festivals, and other venues in Iowa, Arizona, and California. She
has taught children and adults privately and publicly. She graduated with honors from the University of California
at Berkeley where she received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts. She is currently exhibiting and teaching in Fairfield at the FAA.
Gin Lammert has been working with soft pastels since
1995, creating award winning portraits, Landscapes and still lifes. Capturing a moment in time that is rich with emotion and spirit of a place, person, or item is what Gin is best known for accomplishing. She is member of Mid America Pastel Society.
Kella j.Moschkau creates visual 2-dimensional compositions using various mediums of drawing, painting, and printmaking. Subjectivity and art spirit (logic and imagination) are important factors in her Arts
Philosophy as a 35 year Visual Art Educator, Instructor, and
Fine Artist.
John Preston, a very well know midwest artist, is amaster of watercolor and pastel. John has works in many
private & corporate collections and exhibits regularly at
Olsen Larson Gallery in Des Moines.
Wendy Read is an accomplished fiber artist. She has had numerous art quilts juried into international, national, and regional galleries and shows, and will share some of the techniques she has utilized in her art quilts. Wendy is a member of Iowa Art Quilters Guild, Professional Art Quilt Alliance, America Quilters Society & International Quilt
